Moving to Plano? The Los Rios neighborhood is a hidden gem

We think the Los Rios neighborhood in East Plano is one of Collin County’s best kept secrets. It’s a quiet corner of a vibrant city that is home to major businesses, abundant shopping and a great restaurant scene.

Natural beauty: Easy access to parks & trails

Enjoy nature next door with easy access to Bob Woodruff park, Oak Point Nature Preserve and the Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt. Bike, run or walk on 5+ miles of nature trails – you might see some horses on the way. Take your kids to play on the playground, watch the ducks and run in the grass. Or maybe rent a canoe or take a mini hike in Oak Point – there is so much to do!

Established neighborhoods with customized homes

Most the homes were built between 1970 and 1999 – before the era of cookie cutter homes. Don’t get us wrong – we love a new build. But, there is something so special about a home that doesn’t look like a carbon copy of the home next-door.

Beautiful yards without an HOA

Mature trees and well-maintained yards are defining features of Los Rios. But, unlike many surrounding areas, the neighborhoods around here don’t have a home owners’ association (HOA). That means you get to live in a lovely community without high monthly fees or someone dictating what type of flowers you can plant.
